Program schedules vary by campus, but students typically attend on-campus training two days per week, with morning, afternoon, or evening options available depending on location and cohort size. Campuses follow a Monday–Wednesday–Thursday schedule, with new cohorts typically starting every five weeks, so you can begin your training sooner. Eagle Gate College’s blended Medical Assisting program prepares you for entry-level Medical Assistant roles in as little as nine months through a flexible combination of online coursework and in-person training. All theory courses are delivered online, while lab instruction and externship experiences are primarily completed on campus and in real healthcare settings. The curriculum builds strong administrative and clinical foundations, covering medical terminology, medical office procedures, basic anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, infection control, diagnostic imaging, medication administration, medical law, and office management. Throughout the program, you’ll also strengthen communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills to support confident, professional practice. By graduation, you will have completed 29 semester credits and gained hands-on experience designed to help you transition smoothly into the healthcare workforce.
